In 2011 I went on a cruise with two friends. One had gotten us a great rate through her Union. I hadn’t been on a cruise in almost 20 years (my first and only one up until that point had been a disaster).
This was my first time in Nassau, so I actually got off the ship. I’ve been there so many times now, I usually don’t. In 2011, though, I took a Segway tour and the guide snapped this photo of me with our ship, the Norwegian Sun in the background as well as the Disney Dream.

We were going to take a cruise to Alaska from Vancouver, BC but everything got cancelled. That would have been my first cruise…
I want to do that some day for sure. We had one planned, then my granddaughter decided she was going to arrive right when we were supposed to be on that particular cruise.
